Quality Engineer - £up to £35k - Merseyside
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Quality Engineer to join a global manufacturer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the physical inspection and verification of components ensuring the products are to a specified quality standard.
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure quality procedures are applied and maintained
- Audit quality systems and processes as required
- Compilation of PPAP
- Process documentation in accordance with TS16949 and ISO 9001
- Ensure 8D reports are comprehensive and closed in a timely manner
- Lead and support improvement projects
- Completion of internal quality documents
The Person
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role as a Quality Engineer
- Familiar with quality systems and tools
- Experience of using various measuring equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
